Nowadays, artemisinin is used mainly in parasitic diseases. It is particularly effective against protozoan microorganisms, which are the main causes of malaria, as well as against microorganisms that have developed resistance to chloroquine. It attacks Plasmodium organisms in their early phase, supports the synthesis of radicals and thus neutralizes parasitic proteins.

Artemisinin can be administered orally, intramuscularly or suppository. The substance has been shown to reach plasma within a few hours and is equally effective in all three doses.

Recommended daily dose: 2 times x 1-2 tablets or as prescribed by a doctor. To be taken in an interval of 2 hours after consuming food and iron supplements. Take 5 consecutive days, followed by a 2-day break. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
