Physiological effects

• Nettle (Urtica dioica): Nettle is a versatile herb with a body-cleansing attribute. Nettle is slightly diuretic and is also recommended for persons suffering gout. Nettle activates digestion and supports the functioning of the intestines and liver. In addition, it is very nutritive (e.g. silicon, calcium, potassium, and B-vitamins).
• Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale): Dandelion supports the functioning of the kidneys and liver. It is also a diuretic and has positive effects on the intestines. Because of its diuretic attribute, dandelion is recommended even for reducing cellulite.
• Birch leaf (Betula sp): Birch leaf is slightly diuretic. Birch leaf also supports blood pressure control and has an effect on skin condition.
• Inulin: Inulin acts as a prebiotic by supporting the beneficial bacteria in the intestines.
• Parsley leaf (Petroselinum crispum): Parsley leaf is a diuretic and it also eases muscular cramps (e.g. in the intestines).
