Rice bran, Anticaking agent E 460, Biocore DPP-IV protease enzyme mixture, Moisturising agent E 464 (capsule shell). May contain traces from cassava or potato.

Physiological effects

• Enzymes affect different biochemical reactions. With ageing the body’s ability to produce enzymes decreases. If there is a lack of digestion enzymes, food is not digested properly and will eventually burden the intestines and the whole body.
• Biocore DPP-IV is a mix of proteolytical enzymes that break down proteins. Gluten and casein contain abundantly the amino acid proline that layers down the amino acid chain so that the body’s digestion enzymes have difficulties breaking down them. Biocore DPP-IV breaks down gluten in the whole digestion area. Gluten and casein chains break down and the non-breakable, irritating parts do not cause unpleasant immunological reactions.
• DPP-IV parameter tells the composition’s ability to break down protein bonds. The HUT-parameter defines protease’s ability to break down proteins in the acid (pH 4,7) environment. This is close to the stomach’s pH. The AP-parameter defines the composition’s ability to break down proteins and exempt free amino acids from different kinds of proteins, also from difficult to break down gluten and casein. The combination secures the breaking down of proteins and their absorption.

Daily dosage

1 capsule contains:

Protease (Aspergillus oryzae) 500 DPP-IV

Protease (Aspergillus oryzae) 30 000 HUT

Protease (Aspergillus melleus) 8,5 AP

Dosage

1 – 2 capsules together with a meal containing gluten, maximum 6 capsules per day. The daily dosage should not be exceeded. Keep away from children. The product is not recommend for people with blood coagulation problems or persons using anti-coagulant medicine or during pregnancy and nursing. This product is not meant to treat celiac disease or other intestinal diseases.

Free from lactose, suitable for vegans.
